Okay I love hiking but here is my issue with this place.
Parking was not an issue. Another free way to have fun with family.
GPS will not take you where you need to go, period. Mine brought me to a juvenile detention center, then a dead end street, then in front of someone's house. Eventually when getting gas I was told by a local there are limited ways to access the park, mostly on foot. By that point honestly I gave up and went to go hike someplace else.

If you know where you're going, I'm sure it's great. However if you're not a local beware, GPS will run you in circles.
American Legion facility was well maintained and a great place to hold BSA events.
